Enjoying Time Alone at A Nusa Dua Beach Resort in Bali

Enjoying Time Alone at A Nusa Dua Beach Resort in Bali

Whether you are in for a travel or travelling for work, there is a certain joy that comes with travelling alone. Especially you come to a beautiful, quiet corner or Bali like the Nusa Dua, and staying in a resort with a direct access and view to that breathtaking powdery beach. You would want time to stop and enjoy the wonderful resort forever.

Being able to go alone and not have to share a space with anyone else seems wonderful to this introvert. If I were to travel in this manner constantly, it might get lonely. However, occasionally it’s exactly what the doctor prescribed. You can go there to unwind and recharge or to play and have fun. You can relax and read, go on short trips outside the resort, or fully experience the resort, from the swim-up bar to the nightclub. All of it is up to you.

So if you happen to have the privilege to stay at a beachfront Nusa Dua resort alone this time, here are some ideas to enjoy your vacation to the fullest.

Get the Best Rate for Your Stay at the Nusa Dua Beach Resort

Do you believe that the rack rate for a hotel is also the average price for a hotel room? The maximum price a hotel typically charges for a room is known as a rack rate.

Even if you don’t enjoy looking for bargains, it’s typically worthwhile to spend 10 seconds searching Google for a promo code to make sure you’re paying less than the going rate.

Know What You Get with What You’ve Paid

I wish that weren’t the case, but the hotel description and amenities at many hotels contain false information. We’ve slept in hotels that claim to be close to the city centre more times than I can count, only to discover that the distance is actually more than an hour.

It’s usually simple to confirm the hotel’s listing. A hotel’s location can be instantly confirmed via Google Maps. Recent hotel reviews are another valuable resource.

It’s best to get in touch with the hotel directly to inquire about specific amenities prior to booking. It has frustrated us in the past to learn that the gorgeous outdoor hotel pool we had been anticipating was closed for remodelling or, even more perplexing, closed for the winter while it is still July.

Ask The Hotel Other Room, If Possible

Ask if you can check out the other rooms at the Nusa Dua beach resort if you don’t like the one you initially get. You might be shocked to learn that other available rooms offer a much better view or even more space. Hotel managers frequently aim to fill the least attractive rooms first.

Read Local Print Materials in Your Hotel Room

It can be educational to read the newspapers and periodicals of another nation. Every tourist attraction looks ideal from the outside. However, a more comprehensive picture only becomes clear when reading about the locals’ concerns. Reading the local paper will give you insights on the local news, the culture, how the local people feels about the area that you are right now, and many more. If there’s no printed magazines or papers in your room, go to the lobby and browse everything they have there. It’s also a nice way to spend a slow morning after breakfast in the resort!

Order A Coconut Water and Have A Quiet Moment in the Beach

Order A Coconut Water and Have A Quiet Moment in the Beach

What’s better than having some slow day, alone in your beach chair, under the shade of coconut trees, and drinking cold coconut water when you are at a tropical beach resort? Oh and it doesn’t have to be a coconut water. Tropical juice or cocktails, have it your way!

Enjoy the Toiletries!

Nothing makes me happier than when a hotel offers travel-sized amenities. I’ll be sure to bring them with me when I go, even if I don’t use them while I’m here. They usually smell great and are the ideal size to fit in your carry-on for upcoming travel. And because you’re all aware of my serious caffeine addiction, it probably goes without saying that I’d never check out of a hotel room without brewing the complimentary coffee. I adore brewing a fresh cup of coffee in the morning and sipping it in bed.

Relax and Pamper Yourself!

The fact that hotels have spotless restrooms is the finest part of staying there. Bring your favourite music into the hotel bathroom and treat yourself to a spa day while using the shower and amenities. If there is a bathtub, take a dip and relax in it. The hotel bed is also the ideal place to relax while using a hydrating face mask.

Enjoy the Spa

I enjoy getting massages, but I don’t often do so at home. Luckily, if you are staying at Nusa Dua beach resorts, you are in for a treat. If I have time at a resort, I always treat myself to a massage, facial, or other form of pampering. It’s a pleasure!
